STOVE & OVEN ISSUES

WILL NOT TURN ON

For an electric stove doesn’t ignite, ensure the appliance is plugged in and all circuit breakers are switched on. You should check the pilot light for gas stoves. If the appliance power cord is plugged in or if the pilot light is lit, it means a different part will need to be replaced. The cause of the issue might be the infinite switch, surface element, oven burner igniter or bake and broil element.

OVEN DOESN’T HEAT

A stove or burner or oven that does not heat doesn’t do much good. An oven doesn’t heat when there is a broken oven sensor or bake element. Your burner will not turn on if an element breaks or when the burner switch or terminal block do not work. We know how to troubleshoot and fix these common issues in no more than 1-2 hours after our arrival.

PROGRAM ISSUES

It is safe to assume the control board on an oven is broken if the program or timer functions don’t work. In this case, we are able to replace control boards for LG, Sears, GE, Kenmore, KitchenAid and most other brands of stoves, ovens and ranges. We provide a warranty on control panels and the replacement parts we need for this type of stove repair service.

OVEN IS TOO HOT

You need a hot oven. Just not too hot! If the oven heat is out of control, it could be due to an issue with the sensor or thermostat. Our appliance technicians are able to diagnose the reason for the problem and repair it. But be careful if troubleshooting this problem for fear of body burns from the very high and unpredictable heat source.

IGNITER DOESN’T LIGHT

A common stove problem is times where an igniter will glow but it won’t light. The cause is sometimes from either a broken electronic control, surface igniter, safety valve or sensor. We are able to determine whether we can fix these parts or if we have to replace the parts.

DOOR DOES NOT OPEN

Newer self-cleaning models of ovens sometimes have door issues often. The door does not open after the cleaning cycle. We monitor the door latch, seal and thermostat to find out why the door will not open up and then we complete the repair in order to fix the issue.
